Top: Almost into "downtown" Jamul on Lyons Valley Road, is the intersection of Jamul Drive. Sounds lame enough until one day, thinking I was taking an easier shortcut from Steele Canyon Road on the other side, turned onto Jamul Drive and discovered it was a 3 mile steep and very steep climb into Jamul. I almost fell over from lack of inertia in my lowest gear of 39/26 near the top. Below: The other San Diego ride I enjoy is riding up along the coast.
