Top: Along Japatul Road is Loveland reservoir where many locals go fishing. It is a long hike from the road down to the lake. Below: Japatul Road at the fork where you head up towards Alpine or turn left down Dehesa Road towards El Cajon. I usually go left as by the time I get here I have already ridden 33 miles and have almost as much to go to get back.
