Top: At 47 miles was the second hike-a-bike at Sabino Creek. Very sandy and loose soil, some did try to ride the almost 1/2 mile stretch while others shouldered the bike and ran across. Most like me, rolled our bikes.
Bottom: This was taken at about 55 miles. I rode almost the entire ride from here with #2221 from Tucson. We would ride from group to group, keeping our own pace. When not in a group we would take turns at the front trying to keep the pace up until we found more riders going our speed.
