Top: Heading south back to Tucson at about 80 miles I was in a large group of riders keeping a steady 21mph pace which was about average for the day. The hike-a-bike areas, headwinds and gradual uphill grades brought the ride speed average down considerably. Fastest area was at about 70 miles when we had a slight downhill or tailwind or both and I was in a large group doing 34+mph and spun out in my top gear of 53/13.
