Top: Picture by Kristina as she passed the two unicycle riders on the ride. They both had aero bars mounted on the front to rest their arms during the ride. Don't think they finished as we never saw them again. 1:1 gearing can be very tough to keep up all day, especially going uphill.
Bottom: I took this pic at about 30 miles when most riders settled into a pace and started to form packs. I was in a fast pace line and just held my camera pointed back to see who or what was on my wheel. Turns out a guy from El Paso.
