Me with our host Thorsten Pälmer, owner of Im Wilden Mann. A more gracious, helpful and nice person would be hard to find. A Soest native and frequent visitor to the USA, Thorsten will go out of his way to assure his guests of a wonderful stay at his hotel and restaurant. As a parting gift, he presented us with two packages of Soester pumpernickel bread, manufactured just a few meters down on the Markt.
