Top: The finish area at what used to be the Copenhagen Inn.The local Chumash tribe bought the hotel and is refurbishing it as well as renaming it. Over 5000 riders participated in both the century and half century. Personally I finished the ride in 6 hours and 5 minutes for 104 miles with 4500+ feet of climbing. Unlike the Tucson tour, here you have to stop for traffic lights as there are no cops to stop traffic for most of the intersections you encounter along the route. Bottom: It was on the cold side and gloomy most of the day in Solvang.
