Top & Bottom: Yesterday, while reading about the Vuelta Espagna and Tour of Missouri on a bike website, I noticed a link to Lance Armstrong's twitter page. Never having been on twitter for anything I clicked on the link and the very first tweet I read is "Hey LA, get out of your cars and onto your bike and ride Griffith Park tomorrow 7:30 am. See you there." So this morning I tossed the Dolce into the aging Caravan (the wife now calls it an eyesore) and made it to the LA Zoo parking lot in time to ride with Mellow Johnny. There were probably 1500 or more bikers there with all the media and news helicopters in the sky. When Lance showed up, he was immediately mobbed by the media with bikers all around. The first thing he said to the crowd was "All right, who wants the bill for this?" Everyone laughed and yelled "Lets's ride!".
