Top: Well, it wasn't raining, the wife had a house warming party to attend, so Milton and I went on our usual Saturday morning ride. We usually don't know where we are going until just minutes before we ride so on this day it was down to the beach. We had ridden up into the mountains a few days ago and froze, so we wanted to be warmer on this nice day with temps in the forties and fifties. The usual beach ride went down the San Gabriel bike path to the end where the Trail's End restaurant was packed with standing room only. Rode south along PCH to Newport Beach and crossed over the small bridge to Balboa Island. We stopped at a Starbucks for something to eat.
